you are viewing the website of an entity within the wires.
following me
try pasting in inwiring.com into an rss reader. i recommend:
- macos: netnewswire
- linux: newsflash
- windows/electron: golly, idk. fluent reader looks promising?
you can reach me via an email to this domain also. as i’m the domain admin, try a sensible default.

this website is built with a forked version of barf. i was drawn to it because it is about 180 lines of shell that just creates a index (right now, a tsv. soon, JSON with the help of jq
), and then uses a markdown parser (lowdown
as of writing, but i am planning on switching to pandoc
) to go through each entry in that index.
but i am not a masochist (nor am i a reactionary), so any features present in the current year’s baseline are game. but, there is no javascript in this blog and any new feature is used with progressive enhancement in mind.
i deploy to neocities via WebDAV using rclone
. i blog on my internet/blogging laptop (a thinkpad x1 nano that runs nixos
.)
there are no backups yet. i should probably get to doing that eventually.
typography is fira sans, commissioned by telefonica and mozilla and designed by erik spiekermann, ralph du carrois, anja meiners, botio nikoltchev of carrois type design and patryk adamczyk of mozilla. (source). it’s hosted on mozilla’s cdn.
i don’t use generative ai in writing my posts, nor do i use it to generate source code.
this way, you can be sure all content is truly public domain, and my code is truly mit-licensed.
